Rising raw material costs lead to price adjustments

Papierbranche

Ongoing cost increases for raw materials, energy, and transport continue to impact the printing and paper industry. Several suppliers have already implemented price adjustments or announced further increases. Gutenberg AG is also affected by these developments.

Rising costs in the paper industry

Procurement markets remain under pressure. In particular, high energy prices as well as rising costs for raw materials, production, and logistics are forcing numerous manufacturers and suppliers to adjust their prices.

Over the past few months, many of these additional costs have been absorbed through internal measures and optimized processes. However, given the ongoing trend, this is becoming increasingly difficult. Initial price increases have already been implemented, and further adjustments are to be expected in the coming months.

Various product categories are affected, including paper, cardboard, packaging materials, and envelopes. Price trends vary depending on the material and product.

What does this mean for our customers?

We at Gutenberg AG are also facing these changes. Rising procurement costs may affect the cost of our printed products and services. Consequently, price adjustments in certain areas cannot be ruled out in the future.

Our goal remains to minimize the impact on our customers. We continuously monitor price trends and strive to offset additional costs as much as possible through efficient production processes and careful planning.

Quality and transparency remain our commitment

Despite current challenges, we continue to place great importance on fair pricing, high quality, and reliable cooperation.

Should you have any questions regarding ongoing or planned print jobs, our team is happy to assist you. We provide you with individual advice and work with you to find suitable and cost-effective solutions.
